SIX EPISODES, SIX AUTHORS, SIX BOOKS.
EACH EPISODE CREATES A STORY, A PLOT, A TALE, TRANSFORMING A PHYSICAL WORK – A PHOTOBOOK – INTO A NEW FORMAT. WORDS, SOUNDS AND DIFFERENT MUSIC GENRES INTERWEAVE WITH ONE ANOTHER AND GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE PAGES OF THE BOOK. THE AIM IS TO TRY TO EXPERIENCE DIFFERENTLY VISUAL CONTENTS BY IMAGING WHAT YOU CANNOT SEE.
EPISODE #3 AN ATTIC FULL OF TRAINS BY CARLOTTA DI LENARDO
19.01.2021 | LENGHT 50:51
The third episode is a journey into Alberto di Lenardo Works: “An Attic Full of Trains”by Carlotta di Lenardo, published by Mack Books (2020). “One day during a family lunch he revealed to Carlotta di Lenardo, another of his not very secret passions – his enduring love for photography – and shared with her his archive of more than 8,000 photographs: a body of vernacular work capturing over half a century of life in vivid colour.” Alberto's work reminds us of the typical scenarios of Italian films: nuance, shades and sounds alternate between the most important soundtracks of our bel paese.
