PUBLISHING STATION IS AN EVER-EXPANDING EXPERIMENTAL PROJECT WHERE IMAGES AND TEXTS ARE RETHOUGHT IN THE FORM OF INTERVALS, RHYTHMS, VOICES, TENSIONS, PAUSES. EACH EPISODE STARTS FROM A BOOK AND BECOMES SOUND. MUSIC IS AT THE CENTER OF REFLECTION, AN IRRESISTIBLE FORM OF CONTAMINATION. THE VISUAL CONTENTS ARE IMAGINED IN DIFFERENT FORMATS TO REACH THE LISTENER’S SENSES, FROM THE CREATION OF PLAYLISTS TO LIVE PERFORMANCES: MOMENTARY CONJUNCTION OF SENSATIONS THAT TESTIFY TO A BODILY EXPERIENCE.

EPISODE #6 SALSICCETTE SNACK

14.10.2021 | LENGHT 00:54:10

The sixth episode manifests itself in a harmonic succession, sometimes entirely internal, inspired by real and imaginary objects along with the caprices and secrets of the artists involved in Salsiccette Snack - a miniseries on drawing. Five childish souls chained to heterogeneous sounds which, in a game of affectionate relationships, reveal their origins through personal rhymes.

Salsiccette Snack is a limited edition by Giulia Maria Belli, Thomas Braida, Giorgia Agnese Cereda, Anastasiya Parvanova, Carolina Pozzi, published by Bruno in 2021.

EPISODE #5 ALERTA MIRA-SOL BY BLANCA MUNT

18.06.2021 | LENGHT 1:04:52

How can we be fearless? Are we a community for real? The fifth episode is a reflection on the apparent tension between the privilege of living in a peaceful place and the lurking threat hinted at by our current culture of fear.
In this mix we recreate Blanca's typical day: from 2019 wrapped up in the various messages of a neighborhood chat group created to monitor, control, and advise of any thefts or suspicious actions - we move from moments of panic to the apparent tranquillity of the neighborhood, blurring between the various themes of jazz. A broad and beyond species genre, which can

EPISODE #4 THE MISSING EYE BY MATTIA PARODI AND PIERGIORGIO SORGETTI

28.02.2021 | LENGHT 1:06:35

The fourth episode is inspired by “The Missing Eye”, a photo book by Mattia Parodi and Piergiorgio Sorgetti published by Witty Books (2021). The book holds their research around the photographic device and its visual projections which aren’t deduced from our immediate experience of reality but are the results of the combination of different cognitive paths in which all senses participate with sight. We put together a sound collage where the pioneers of electronic music and the hypnotic voice of Ginevra Shay are combined together to stimulate all the senses. The synthesizers elevate this episode into a realm of its own where we let ourselves guided by words about textures and citrus. An ode to dreams and memories.

EPISODE #3 AN ATTIC FULL OF TRAINS BY CARLOTTA DI LENARDO

19.01.2021 | LENGHT 50:51

The third episode is a journey into Alberto di Lenardo Works: “An Attic Full of Trains”by Carlotta di Lenardo, published by Mack Books (2020). “One day during a family lunch he revealed to Carlotta di Lenardo, another of his not very secret passions – his enduring love for photography – and shared with her his archive of more than 8,000 photographs: a body of vernacular work capturing over half a century of life in vivid colour.” Alberto's work reminds us of the typical scenarios of Italian films: nuance, shades and sounds alternate between the most important soundtracks of our bel paese.
